Privacy notice
This notice explains what Noor does with the personal information you give us on nooroliveoil.com. We collect as little as we can and never sell it.
What we collect
Waitlist: your email address, your country and language, and the oil and size you were looking at if you joined from the shop.
Contact and wholesale forms: your name, email address, company and country if you give them, and your message.
Why we use it
Waitlist: to email you when the shop opens, with your launch discount, and to send news from the mill. We do this because you asked us to, and you can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email.
Messages: to reply to you and, for wholesale enquiries, to discuss supplying your business.
Who handles it for us
Klaviyo sends our emails and stores the waitlist. Resend delivers form messages to our inbox. Vercel hosts the website. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that forms are sent by people, not bots. Some of these providers process data outside the UK and the EU, under the data protection safeguards in their contracts with us.
How long we keep it
Waitlist details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Messages are kept for as long as we need to deal with them and keep a record of our correspondence.
Cookies
We set one cookie, which remembers your language choice. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and shows us only totals (pages viewed, the country and type of device, the site you came from). It can’t identify you, and the anonymous visit marker it uses is deleted after 24 hours.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by writing to hello@nooroliveoil.com. If you’re unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK or to the data protection authority in your EU country.
