Great-grandfather
Planted the trees that still give the oldest fruit in every bottle.
Our story starts with olive trees planted by a great-grandfather in southern Tunisia, and a mill that opened in 1958.

Worked the presses when the mill opened in 1958.
Bought the mill his father worked in, and added new groves.
Modernising the mill and bringing our oil to market as Noor.
The mill has pressed olives since 1958. We are modernising it with a new extraction line, so olives are pressed the same day they are picked.
For decades, oil from our region left in tankers without a name. Noor is our oil under our own name, with the harvest date on every bottle.
Noor (نور) means light in Arabic. For centuries olive oil was the lamp fuel of the Mediterranean. In southern Tunisian homes it was, literally, the light.
